P5

 P5

created a final cut pro timeline as 1920x1080 at 25fps and imported all my usable footage.

I have added visuals to my music video, I have done this to match the lyrics and visuals. This is good because it uses Andrew Goodwin's theory, I have chosen a dark colour but it still stands out in my shot, and I have chosen a good font to go with this, this font is good because it matches my genre, this font is used on some of the daily dippy videos which also matches my genre.

I have added a pause in-between each clip in the intro to make the beat go better with the visuals because there is a pause in the music as well. This also uses Andrew Goodwin's as the music and visuals match, this will look good in my final edit because the transitions are quick and sequenced. Which is the same as my song, it is rap and goes quickly.

I have added an image with a transparent background of a Mercedes logo, I have added this as soon as Dave says Mercedes to match the lyrics and visuals. This means I have used Andrew good wins theory again, I have also added a clip that starts straight after the Mercedes logo to make the transition fast paced and look good.

My v1 music video

All clip music video

This is my music video unedited in my timeline, this is 6 minutes and 24 seconds long, and my song is only 3 minutes 34 seconds. I will place my clips into the corresponding position in order to make my music video look good. I imported all my videos by dragging them all in from the "projects" folder, then dragged them all onto my timeline on Final Cut Pro. I will put my intro clips first and cut my clips on the beat so that the transitions are smooth and clean. I will also be adding Final Cut Pro transitions to make them a lot smoother, this will be more aseptically pleasing for my music video and my audience will enjoy this. In the intro I will add black bits in-between each clip as there is a stop in-between the beat in my song at the start, this will be good because the music and visuals will match.

My Final Version Music video

I exported my music video as a H264 for YouTube and a full HD master as this is suitable for YouTube. The technical settings used for my project and timeline, was 1920x1080 at 25fps to make sure all my footage is clear and editable for my project.
My music video v1 compared to my final version has improved massively. I have included a lot more visuals i have added such as transitions and text on the video. I have included these to match the lyrics and visuals to use Andrew Godwin’s theory. My full footage before had 6 minutes 30 seconds however now i have 8 minutes 24 seconds of footage that has been used throughout my music video. This meant if i didn’t like one of the clips of my music video i could change it and make it look better to fit the song better. I also made touches to my intro and outro to make them look smoother and flow with the beat better. I have done this by adding a fade transition on the end of every clip so it flows into the next one better and had to shortern a few of them to make it consistent. I have also added a lot more lip syncing into the video as i believe it looked better than the clips just showing objects of the words to match the lyrics, as these would have been harder to edit and I think lip syncing suits my music better.
